The aim of this study is to establish a correlation between Standard X-ray, sinuscopy and sinusomanometry, in case of chronic maxillary sinusitis. One hundred and fifty-three adults maxillary sinuses were studied. A good positive correlation was found between radiology and sinuscopy (44,5-89,5%). There is no correlation either between X-Ray and sinusomanometry, nor between sinuscopy (excluded ostium) and sinusomanometry. On the other hand, a very good correlation exists between maxillary ostium morphology and sinusomanometry (84,1%). The authors concluded that morphological and functional investigations of sinusal pathology are complementary and cannot be dissociated.
本研究的目的是在慢性上颌窦炎病例中建立标准X线、鼻窦镜检查和鼻窦测压法之间的相关性。对153例成人上颌窦进行了研究。发现放射学与鼻窦镜检查之间存在良好的正相关（44.5%-89.5%）。X线与鼻窦测压法之间以及鼻窦镜检查（不包括窦口）与鼻窦测压法之间均无相关性。另一方面，上颌窦口形态与鼻窦测压法之间存在非常好的相关性（84.1%）。作者得出结论，鼻窦病变的形态学和功能学检查是互补的，不能分开。
