Electron microscopic study of pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcoma of adult skeletal muscle.

Ultrastructural studies of a pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcoma are presented. The tumor consisted of rhabdomyoblasts and rhabdomyocytes as is described in the literature on the embryonal development and regeneration of skeletal muscle. The significance of electron microscopic studies in the diagnosis of tumor is emphasized.
