In this publication about the conservative therapy of mastopathy is referred. The expression "mastopathy" should be replaced by a histopathological classification. The etiology of this disease is discussed. At the moment hormonal treatment and treatment without hormones is used. The therapy of this disease isn't very important because of the high incidence. A preliminary report about a randomized study for conservative treatment of mastopathy is given, which could influence the therapeutic procedure of conservative treatment even now.
