Effect of thiourea on parafollicular cells of Indian bandicoot rat, Bandicota bengalensis.

Effects of thiourea treatment on follicular and parafollicular cells have been studied in Bandicota bengalensis. Although follicular cells showed hypertrophy and hyperplasia, parafollicular cells of thyroid remained unaffected, suggesting the lack of effect of this drug.
