Conservative surgery for refractory sickle cell hematuria.

Two cases of recurrent hematuria from sickle cell disease are described. The technique of "calyoscopy" is presented, whereby the bleeding is localized, enabling a partial renal resection to be done. During a 5-year followup neither patient has had significant hematuria.
