With a growing demand on psychological services went a proliferation of psychotherapeutic methods and systems. The differences between approaches, and the incompatibility of systems contradicts the unitary concept of psychotherapy. To facilitate an understanding of psychological treatment, a number of psychological intervention processes are assumed and discussed as support, information, interpretation, correction and growth and evaluation. These functions, independent of approaches and systems can be directed to the problem areas of the client. The arena for such problems is seen within five life aspects: emotional freedom, self-acceptance, emotional balance, flexibility and interpersonal relations.
