Abstract

The open field test was used for examination of the corticosterone level in the blood plasma of inbred mice with different responsiveness to stress situation. The initial level of the hormone in C57B1/6 mice was higher than that in CBA or BALB/c mice. The data indicate the interstrain differences in the hormone change to stress.
