Abstract

The influence of UV radiation on the rhythmic activity of lysosomal hydrolases in parabiotic mouse liver was tested when one partner in parabiosis was irradiated. The enzymatic activity was determined by biochemical methods. Significant differences in the rhythmic activities of the enzymes from both partners in parabiosis were found. It was suggested that the blood might be a mediator which transfers the information of radiation action.
