[Electrophoretic comparison of two chimpanzee species (author's transl)].

Pan troglodytes and P. paniscus differ electrophoretically only at 1 locus out of the 34 examined. This is the transferrine locus which varies in different geographical chimpanzee sub-species. P. troglodytes and P. paniscus are concluded to have diverged relatively recently.
