This is a report of 14 patients suffering from cerebral palsy who were treated with chronic cerebellar stimulation and followed for 2 years. At the time of the last follow-up, only 6 patients continued the stimulation, 2 stimulators were removed because of infection and 5 patients stopped using them because of the lack of benefit from stimulation. Using a very close follow-up system with multiple assessors, this mode of treatment showed extremely low efficacy in relieving symptoms of cerebral palsy.
