[Radical treatment of prepatellar and radiohumeral bursitis by excision and capitonnage (author's transl)].

Residual effusion after surgical operation for bursitis can be avoided by vertical incision immediate opening of the bursa which facilitates excision with minimal subcutaneous separation, followed by transcutaneous capitonnage, which suppresses any dead space.
