The report deals with a discussion of the results of study of clinical course and treatment of 36 cases of anaplastic carcinoma of the thyroid. The clinical course of the disease is characterized by rapid growth and invasion of other cervical organs by tumor. As a result, radical surgery was contraindicated in 14 cases. Survival was increased after maximal removal of tumor followed by telegamma- and hormonotherapy.
