Abstract

In parallel with deformation and constant potentials, alternating electric waves were also registered in osseous tissues, that could be presented by their amplitude-frequency characteristics as two groups: slow wave electric activity (SWEA) and medium wave electric activity (MWEA). SWEA was registered in an isolated bone of the animals and man, after death of animals, in the bones of animals under anesthesia, at unrestricted behaviour of the animals. SWEA was reduced after the animal's death and amputation of the man's extremity. Severance of the rabbit sciatic nerve did not cause substantial changes in its parameters 2--3 weeks after implantation of electrodes in the bones the medium wave electric activity was recorded in them, differing from SWEA by high rhythmicity, frequency and amplitude.
