Abstract
Four children with aphasia-epilepsy syndrome are reported with special emphasis on the EEG. Midtemporal spike activity (more on the left) and bilateral-synchronous bursts of spikes and slow spike-wave complexes are the outstanding EEG characteristics of this syndrome.
