The concentration of 60Co and stable cobalt in the shellfishes and seaweeds which were collected from the coast around Japan were obtained by low background beta counting for 60Co and spectrometric determination of stable cobalt. The results obtained were as follows: (1) The 60Co was found in the shellfishes which were enriched in the stable cobalt. (2) The correlation between 60Co and stable cobalt was rather good in the shellfishes. (3) The activities of 60Co was found in the seaweeds taken from seashore near the nuclear power plant. (4) There was great differences in the specific activities between samples collected from contaminated and not contaminated area.
通过对60Co进行低本底β计数以及对稳定钴进行光谱测定，得出了从日本周边海岸采集的贝类和海藻中60Co和稳定钴的浓度。得到的结果如下：(1) 在富含稳定钴的贝类中发现了60Co。(2) 贝类中60Co与稳定钴之间的相关性相当好。(3) 在核电站附近海岸采集的海藻中发现了60Co的活度。(4) 从污染区域和未污染区域采集的样本之间比活度存在很大差异。
