The condition of the hypophyseal-thyroid system in patients with angina of effort and in those with myocardial infarction in the acute stage was studied by determining the content in the blood of the thyrotropic hormone (TTH), thyroxin (T4), and triiodthyronine and 2-hour iodine uptake by the thyroid. It was found that the functional condition of the hypophyseal-thyroid system in patients with angina of effort differs essentially from that in patients with myocardial infarction. The behavior of the thyroid system in myocardial infarction is equivocal and correlates with the character of the course followed by the disease.
通过测定促甲状腺激素（TTH）、甲状腺素（T4）、三碘甲状腺原氨酸的血液含量以及甲状腺2小时碘摄取量，研究了劳力性心绞痛患者和急性期心肌梗死患者的垂体-甲状腺系统状况。结果发现，劳力性心绞痛患者的垂体-甲状腺系统功能状况与心肌梗死患者的明显不同。心肌梗死时甲状腺系统的表现不明确，且与疾病的病程特点相关。
