The conjunctival biomicroscopy has been used to study the microcirculation in the bulbar conjunctiva of 88 patients with cardiac insufficiency, 67 of them had its refractory form. The changes found in the microcirculation bed in the refractory and nonrefractory forms of cardiac insufficiency differed as to the extent and a significantly greater expression in the refractory form of cardiac insufficiency.
