Treatment of disfiguring angiofibromas characteristic of adenoma sebaceum has remained a difficult problem. This report discusses a 13-year-old boy who was bothered by hundreds of bright red papules on his cheeks, nose, and chin. All lesions were successfully eradicated by treatment with the argon laser. The blue-green light from this laser has been found to be particularly useful in treating red-blue vascular lesions and is now the therapy of choice for port-wine stains and several types of small vascular ectasia; adenoma sebaceum characterized by prominent vascular ectasia also respond extremely well to argon laser radiation.
治疗皮脂腺瘤特有的毁容性血管纤维瘤一直是个难题。本报告讨论了一名13岁男孩，他脸颊、鼻子和下巴上有数百个鲜红色丘疹，为此感到困扰。所有病变通过氩激光治疗均成功根除。现已发现这种激光发出的蓝绿光在治疗红蓝色血管病变方面特别有用，目前是治疗葡萄酒色斑和几种小血管扩张症的首选疗法；以明显血管扩张为特征的皮脂腺瘤对氩激光辐射的反应也非常好。
