Abstract
A case of a carcinoid tumor of the left breast of an 83-year-old male is reported. On light microscopy the tumor showed the classical pattern of a carcinoid tumor. Neurosecretory granules were verified ultrastructurally, membrane-bound, about 180 nm in diameter, and possessing electron-dense contents. Some tumor cells had long slender cytoprocesses with small clear round granules other than neurosecretory ones.

报告了一例83岁男性左乳腺类癌肿瘤的病例。光镜下，肿瘤呈现类癌肿瘤的典型模式。超微结构证实存在神经分泌颗粒，其为膜结合型，直径约180纳米，内含电子致密物。一些肿瘤细胞具有细长的细胞突起，其中含有除神经分泌颗粒之外的小而透明的圆形颗粒。
