Author described a new method for the postmortem investigation of the active component of a new medicament Prodectin. For the extraction of it from the organs acetic-alcoholic methode was used. Isolation and quantitative determination of the subtance was carried out by layer-chromatography, quantitative determination by UV-sectrophotometry. The distribution of the substance in organs was also investigated.
