The clinical picture and primary diagnosis of 739 benign, 114 border-case and 115 early-stage malignant ovarian tumors are discussed. It was established that 8.4-11% of patients had detected tumors themselves by palpation. The detection of tumors by a considerable number of patients provided a basis for developing practical recommendations on self-examination procedures, which include inspection of the abdomen, surface and deep palpation. Application of these procedures will contribute to better diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
讨论了739例良性、114例临界性和115例早期恶性卵巢肿瘤的临床表现及初步诊断。结果表明，8.4%-11%的患者通过触诊自行发现了肿瘤。相当一部分患者对肿瘤的检测为制定自我检查程序的实用建议提供了依据，这些程序包括腹部检查、表面和深部触诊。应用这些程序将有助于更好地诊断卵巢癌。
