It has been shown that the accumulation of lipids and maturation of L strain cells into mature lypocytes can be stimulated by high doses (30-60 mg/ml) of serum albumins, egg albumin lysozyme, and gelatin, or with low doses (200-600 mcg/ml) of serum globulins. The globulins are believed to induce differentiation of the L cell on depressing their proliferation. On the contrary, the low doses of albumins stimulate cell division without inducing differentiation.
已经表明，高剂量（30 - 60毫克/毫升）的血清白蛋白、蛋清溶菌酶和明胶，或低剂量（200 - 600微克/毫升）的血清球蛋白可刺激脂质积累以及L株细胞成熟为成熟淋巴细胞。据信球蛋白通过抑制L细胞增殖来诱导其分化。相反，低剂量的白蛋白刺激细胞分裂而不诱导分化。
