Abstract

To facilitate placing pars plana infusion ports, we modified the shaft of a piece of 10-gauge tubing or of a hypodermic needle by removing the beveled tip and Luer hub, passing the tubing through the inserter sleeve, and then reattaching the tubing to the Luer hub.
