The favorable effects of immunosuppressive agents in the treatment of Behçet's disease seems outstanding. Fifty-five cases showed great imporvement in both ocular and extraocular symptoms. Emphasis has been placed on the strengthening effect of the steroids, given in very low dosage. Only a few and unimportant side effects have been observed.
