Abstract

The influence of the dilution of serum-specimen for the analyses of calcium, potassium and sodium was investigated. It could be shown, that the dilution has a marked effect on accuracy and precision. Therefore it is not possible to dilute serum for the investigation of potassium and sodium in such specimen.
