Described in this paper is a patient, aged 22 years, with uteri communicantes with unilateral atresia of the vagina duplex and ipsilateral renal agenesis. The urogenital abnormality was manifest only at the beginning of cohabitation, when old, infected menstrual blood and vaginal secretion were discharged from the blind-ending vagina through a communication between the two cervical canals into the normally functioning vagina. The patient recovered completely, following unilateral hysterectomy and colpectomy.
