Intimal lesions were produced in 15/18 renal arteries in the pig. At follow-up angiography 3--6 1/2 weeks later, 13 of these 15 lesions had healed. Microscopic examination of 8 renal arteries revealed only minor changes in the walls. The results seem to indicate a tendency for spontaneous restitution of traumatic renal artery intimal lesions.
