Abstract
A method for isolation and purification of glycoproteins from the cellular and intracellular membranes of liver is described. The chemical composition of the glycoproteins was determined and their localization in the cell was established. The ability of glycoproteins to change the permeability of the bilayer lipid membranes was revealed.
