Abstract
Idiopathic thrombocytopenia, the most common cause of the hemorrhagic syndrome in the dog, was diagnosed in an adult male Collie. The bleeding tendency was manifested by anemia, ecchymotic hemorrhages, melena and bilateral epistaxis. Hook-worms increased the anemia. The clinical diagnosis was confirmed by a reduced platelet count. Prednisone was the specific treatment.

特发性血小板减少症是犬出血综合征最常见的病因，在一只成年雄性柯利牧羊犬身上被诊断出来。出血倾向表现为贫血、瘀斑出血、黑便和双侧鼻出血。钩虫加重了贫血。血小板计数降低证实了临床诊断。泼尼松是特效治疗药物。
