Non-language ear-preference for hand-held objects was measured for 120 high- and 120 low-achieving subjects in Grades 4, 8, and 12 and for 204 subjects with learning problems. Nonsignificant differences for proportions of right-ear preferences in the two groups were noted, but the correlation between ear preference and composite dominance was significant.
