Hemifacial spasm is a rare disease. Usually a specific etiologic factor is not found and nonspecific treatments are used. A case of hemifacial spasm secondary to a middle ear cholesteatoma is presented. This origin should be considered in any patient who has hemifacial spasm.
面肌痉挛是一种罕见疾病。通常找不到特定病因,因而采用非特异性治疗方法。本文报告了一例继发于中耳胆脂瘤的面肌痉挛病例。对于任何患有面肌痉挛的患者,都应考虑这种病因。
