[Perinatal risk of delivery from breech presentation (author's transl)].

Results obtained in the context of deliveries from breech presentation at the Gynaecological Hospital of Berlin-Buch, between 1972 and 1976, have been evaluated.--All patients who delivered by caesarean section were on full term.--Perinatal mortality of all deliveries from breech presentation accounted for 2.27 per cent--The causes of death were listed and showed that perinatal mortality in the context of deliveries from breech presentation could not be reduced by increased application of caesarean section, but it should be achieved primarily by more prevention of prematurity.
