We have given danazol to 25 women with mammary dysplasia. Clinical, cytologic and radiographic examinations were made before, during and after this treatment. In 23 patients breast pain disappeared completely. Danazol produced such a decrease in breast volume and density that on the mammogram the parenchyma was much more easily visualized. We suggest that danazol might be given before mammography to high risk women having dense dysplasic breasts, in order to ensure easier and more accurate interpretation.
我们给25例乳腺发育异常的女性服用了达那唑。在治疗前、治疗期间和治疗后均进行了临床、细胞学和影像学检查。23例患者的乳房疼痛完全消失。达那唑使乳房体积和密度降低，以至于在乳房X光片上更容易看清实质结构。我们建议，对于乳房致密且发育异常的高危女性，可在乳房X光检查前给予达那唑，以确保解读更容易、更准确。
