"Vineyard sprayer's lung" is an occupational disease found in Portuguese vineyard workers. The radiographic picture resembles that of silicosis with micronodular disease in the early stages and progressive massive fibrosis in later stages, eventually resulting in endstage lung disease. The patients have a downhill course due to respiratory failure. The incidence of bronchogenic carcinoma is also higher than in the general population.
