Abstract

Recent reports on the use of embolization to treat intrarenal arteriovenous fistula have suggested that there is little need for surgical reconstruction. We report the successful use of intrarenal vascular reconstruction in a patient who presented with a large intrarenal arteriovenous fistula and hypertension to emphasize the fact that there still are cases that need surgical repair.
