The aim and materials of therapeutic angiography regarding the tumours of the base of the skull in the ENT field are discussed. Indications of embolization are clear, they involve the hypervascular tumors whose blood supply is depending on the external carotid artery, and which may be operated upon. In such cases, embolization is performed about 48 hours before surgery. A special emphasis is done concerning the risks and their prevention, which is linked on a better knowledge of the micro vascular radio anatomy.
