Threshold doses of focused ultrasound necessary for destroying frog brain tissue were determined. Impulsed ultrasound did not destroy the tissue even when its energy exceeded the destroying energy dose of unbroken ultrasound more than twice. Morphological and physiological changes depended more on the time of ultrasound action than on its intensity.
