[Comprehensive treatment of acute hematogenic osteomyelitis in newborn and young infants by using dimexide and HBO therapy].

Dimexid and HBO-therapy were used in the complex treatment of 129 newborns and infants with epiphysial and metaepiphysial osteomyelitis. The use of HBO-therapy and dimexid in the complex treatment of acute hematogenic osteomyelitis gave positive therapeutic effect in all the patients. The general condition improved, blood indices both general and biochemical became normal. X-ray analysis showed less destruction and more rapid reparative processes in the bones.
