Abstract
The occurrence of patella cubiti in dogs and man and its clinical signs, diagnosis, and treatment are described. The origin of the bone is discussed and it is concluded that the bone might be part of the normal anatomy. At present the prevalence of the bone in dogs is under investigation at Cornell University.
