Du Pont's occupational health and safety program.

The Du Pont Company regularly publishes a Management Bulletin for its management personnel. Vol. 9, No. 1/80 describes the Company's occupational health and safety program in details, as well as setting forth its goals in the implementing of occupational safety and health practices within the organization, plus the establishment of realistic regulations. While the scope of the article covers a giant, multi-plant corporation, much of the information presented is general in nature, lending itself to scale-down for application to virtually any occupational safety and health program, regardless of size. The article, a complete reprint of the Management Bulletin, should provide worthwhile reading for IH professionals at all levels of responsibility.
