Abstract

The new method of species and hybrid characterization and determination by quantitative morphometry of chromatin texture in ultra-thin sections of nuclei was applied to the somatic hybrid "Arabidobrassica" and its parents, Arabidopsis thaliana and Brassica campestris. The somatic hybrid exhibits the average amount of condensed chromatin, if compared to the proportion of condensed chromatin in nuclei of the parent species. This result corresponds to similar findings in natural allopolyploids and is consistent with the assumption that "Arabidobrassica" is a true intergeneric hybrid.

通过对细胞核超薄切片中染色质纹理进行定量形态测定来鉴定物种和杂种的新方法,被应用于体细胞杂种“拟南芥芸苔属”及其亲本拟南芥和油菜。与亲本物种细胞核中浓缩染色质的比例相比,该体细胞杂种表现出平均量的浓缩染色质。这一结果与天然异源多倍体中的类似发现相符,并且与“拟南芥芸苔属”是真正属间杂种的假设一致。
