Some articles made of steel 12X18H9T being used in an orthopedotraumatological clinic do not endure a long stay within the human organism, because of their insufficient resistance to corrosion. Sometimes it caused fractures. To substitute this steel with a more durable and corrosion proof material, the research has been accomplished concerning a possibility to use titanium alloys. Prolonged observations over many patients and testing the titanium things removed from their organisms showed positive results. No damages on the surface of the things were visible, and no fatigue fractures were disclosed.
