450 operations for complications of the ulcerous disease of the stomach and duodenum were analyzed. Perforation of the ulcer was found in 200 patients, hemorrhage--in 72 patients, stenosing in 75 patients, callous and chronic ulcer--in 61 patients, penetration--in 42 patients. In 90% of cases with perforated ulcer the perforation hole was sutured, in hemorrhage and other complications the resection after Hofmeister--Finsterer--Spasokukotski was fulfilled more often than after Bilroth-I.
