[A new implantable preternatural anus closing system - experiences with animal experiments].

A new totally implantable hydraulic prosthetic sphincter, which differs from other systems by a very simple function, is presented and the reseults of implantation in five dogs for 28 to 130 days are reported. It was able to obtain complete faecal continence without injure the bowel.
