The raw-material basis of the rendering plants in Croatia is very solid. The lower average volume of material which is being processed anually in the 7 existing plants of the closed and semi-open type is estimated at 57000 tons roughly. This estimate is too low under the present circumstances and the more so in view of the future because of the constant expansion of the cattle-breeding and the meat industry. During the first phase, two rendering plants, one in the macro-area of Zagreb and another at Osijek, were erected and organised in keeping with the prevailing technological principles (dry system) and laid out for a capacity of 100 tons a day. The future erection of a third plant between the macro-area of Rijeka and Split is under study.
克罗地亚炼油厂的原料基础非常坚实。现有的7家封闭式和半开放式工厂每年加工的原料平均量较低，估计约为57000吨。在目前情况下，这一估计过低，而且鉴于养牛业和肉类行业的不断扩张，从未来来看更是如此。在第一阶段，按照当时流行的技术原则（干法系统）建造并组织了两家炼油厂，一家位于萨格勒布大区，另一家位于奥西耶克，日处理能力为100吨。目前正在研究未来在里耶卡大区和斯普利特之间建造第三家工厂的事宜。
