Abstract
A method for quantitative determination of injury to erythrocyte membranes is suggested. It is based on different distribution pattern in urografin of normal and injured erythrocytes during sedimentation. A progressive growth of blood erythrocyte membrane injury has been demonstrated after rats were exposed to gamma-irradiaton at a dose of 100 to 500 Gy.
