[Conditions for legal protection of inventions in the area of vaccines and sera].

The problems connected with the conditions of the legal protection of inventions in the field of the development and production of vaccines and sera are considered. The discussions held in connection with these problems indicate that the most rational and widely spread form of the protection of proposals in the field of the development and production of vaccines and sera is the achievement of a positive effect; in most cases such effect may be proved, irrespective of the object of invention, by testing the properties of the target product.
