Pruritic papules of pregnancy.

Sixteen cases of pruritic papules of pregnancy were collected during a 32-month period. This dermatosis was introduced to the literature in 1962 but no histopathologic study of it has been published. Histopathologic presentation of pruritic papules of pregnancy is that of toxic dermatitis. This finding is not characteristic of this condition and clinico-pathologic correlation is needed for a definitive diagnosis.
