Sport medicine organization at the III World Aquatic Championships 1978.

Experiences of the medical staff serving the Canadian Swimming team and officials at the 1979 World Aquatic Swimming Championships are described in this report. Routines were developed to ensure that 'banned drug' regulations were observed even though some banned drugs might have been essential medication for some athletes. Recommendations for adequate nutrition supplementation and immunization procedures are also made.
