[Extent of radical interventions in cancer of the cardial portion of the stomach].

For the last 26 years operations have been performed on 528 patients for carcinoma of the cardiac portion of the stomach. In 392 of them extensive, combined and extensive-combined operations were fulfilled. These operations are considered by the authors to be referred to a group of conventionally radical operations.
